A Disaster Recovery Center is opening in Spartanburg County for residents in need of assistance following recent disasters. The center will be located at Spartanburg Emergency Management, 175 Community College Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The center will operate from October 24 to November 6, with hours from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. FEMA staff will be available to answer questions and assist with applications for disaster assistance.

Individuals can apply for assistance in three ways:

1. Online at DisasterAssistance.gov

2. By downloading the FEMA App on smartphones

3. By calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362)

This initiative is intended to help residents recover and access vital resources.
