A fourth-grade class at Jesse Bobo Elementary School has completed a project aimed at helping residents of North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene. The students wrote letters filled with hope and encouragement to those impacted by the disaster. This assignment was designed to go beyond traditional grammar and writing techniques, focusing instead on teaching compassion and empathy. The letters reflect the students' understanding and support for their peers in North Carolina.
